This is why I picked up a slicktop last year for a track car. Hopefully have it together this winter and done in time to use at our new track next year. Been collecting parts forever, just need to put it together now. I jsut have too much money and time into my white TT and I worried everytime I went to the track. And I liked to push the car as much as I could and upgraded lots of componenets mainly just because of track use. But it became too nice of a car and I worried more and more at every track event. Now I won't have to worry about damaging anything. The track car can get dented, rock chips, dirty, broken, etc and it won't really hurt me all that much because I have it in my head that's whats supposed to happen to it :) I know there are better cars out there to use as track cars, but I couldn't justify the jump to something else. I have way too many extra Z32 parts and didn't want to start another collection. When I need a part, 90% of the time I'm going to have one in my "parts department". Plus working on a car I already know inside and out makes things a lot easier when something breaks.
